Status of industry

The Cybersecurity Level Protection System is a fundamental system in China aimed at enhancing the capacity and level of information security assurance, safeguarding national security, social stability and public interests, and ensuring the healthy development of informatization. In June 2018, the Ministry of Public Security led the release of the draft of the "Regulations on Cybersecurity Level Protection" for public comment.

The construction ideas of the cyber security level protection not only inherit the original protection system's ideology but also reflect the new requirements and new ideas for the level protection construction under the new IT technology architecture. The overall ideas are as follows:

Based on the requirements of "one center and triple protection", build technical capabilities that meet the requirements of Level Protection 2.0; with a systematic design approach, plan and design the security technology system according to actual security needs such as infrastructure security, dynamic identity security, depth defense system, and full life cycle protection; with the goal of an adaptive security architecture, build a continuous improvement security operation system, and continuously optimize and improve the security technology system during the security operation process; guided by the practical implementation of the security management system, enhance security operation capabilities, and better implement the level protection system.
