Huang Renshun announced that the United States has approved the sale of Nvidia’s H20 chip in China, stating that the Chinese market is of vital importance.

On July 15th, it was announced that at the invitation of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Huang Rengxun will attend the opening ceremony of the 3rd China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo tomorrow and participate in related activities.
NVIDIA has just released an announcement. Its founder and CEO, Jen-Hsun Huang, declared that the sales of H20 to China will resume and a brand-new, fully compatible GPU for the Chinese market will be launched.
The US government has approved our export license, and we will start selling H20 chips to the Chinese market.
We will also release a new graphics card called RTX Pro. This card is specifically designed for computer graphics, digital twins and artificial intelligence.
H20 was launched to comply with US export restrictions and is an AI accelerator specifically designed for the Chinese market. In April this year, the US government decided to prohibit NVIDIA from selling its H20 chips to the Chinese market.
During the interview, Huang Renshun also said that NVIDIA has many excellent competitors and he is happy that China has a group of top computer scientists. “The Chinese market is huge, dynamic and highly innovative. It is also a gathering place for many artificial intelligence researchers. Therefore, it is indeed crucial for American companies to take root in the Chinese market.”

In Washington, D.C., Huang Rengxun met with U.S. President Donald Trump and policymakers, reaffirming NVIDIA’s efforts in supporting the government to create jobs, strengthen the U.S. AI infrastructure and domestic manufacturing, as well as maintaining the U.S. leading position in the AI field.
In China, Huang Renshuo met with government and industry officials to discuss how AI will enhance productivity and expand opportunities. This meeting highlighted how researchers around the world are advancing safe and reliable AI to benefit all of humanity.
Huang Renshun also shared the latest news with customers that NVIDIA is submitting an application to resell NVIDIA H20 GPUs. The US government has assured NVIDIA that it will grant the license, and NVIDIA hopes to start deliveries as soon as possible. Finally, Huang Renshun announced the launch of a brand-new and fully compatible NVIDIA RTX PRO GPU, which “is an ideal choice for creating digital twins of AI for smart factories and logistics.”
During his visit, Huang Renshun pointed out that the world has reached a turning point – AI has become a fundamental resource, just like energy, water and the Internet. Huang Renshun emphasized that NVIDIA is committed to supporting open-source research, basic models and application development to achieve the popularization of AI, and will provide support for emerging economies in Latin America, Europe, Asia and all other regions.
